A band mixing the sounds of '60s psych and garage with indiepop and the more modern psychedelic groups? We'll take that, thanks very much! London quartet Love L.U.V. (pronounced "love el, you, vee") tick all the right boxes stylistically and have a cracker of a tune to back it up with 'In My Daydreams'. We get the feeling you'll be hearing more from this lot.

Ms. Henrik - Mark
Ms. Henrik, so called because of his androgyny, is a Swedish artist who makes synth-pop that's full of melody and really quite addictive. As far as we're aware, 'Mark' is his second single and follows on from debut 'Doing It For The Man' which went a little bit viral on the blogs earlier this year. If he's got more songs as catchy as these he'll be a star.

Crushed Out - Push Down & Twist
In an interesting, erm, twist, just as we're talking about songs being addictive, US duo Crushed Out serve up this garage-pop track from album 'Want To Give' that is also incredibly catchy and just so happens to be about addiction to prescription medication, the title 'Push Down & Twist' being the usual entry method to medicine bottles. We say stick to the music. It's cheaper, certainly in this case.

Treasure of Grundo - Dýsantzú Yles
Dutch band Treasure Of Grundo released their new album 'Dýsantzú' at the end of April and you can download the track 'Dýsantzú Yles' for free. It's a mysterious song that picks elements from experimental indie bands, post-rock, chillwave, trip-hop, dreampop and probably a few other genres too. So we end up with a spooky but original tune of high quality.
