We were lucky enough to catch on to Temples very early on and cover their debut single. Also, they were included in our Sound Of 2013 list and our friends over at SoundsXP are also fans. One live report for that site gave the singles a highly favourable write up, but suggested that the band overall still have work to do until enough material is of that same quality so they have the building blocks of what has the potential to be a phenomenal debut album. Well, a couple of singles have passed since that review, and we're all in agreement that Temples are firmly on course to achieve what we're all hoping for.
The band have announced details of their next single, 'Keep In The Dark', which will be available to buy in physical forms from October 7th. Good news though, we get to hear it now. The leaders of the new psychedelic pack keep the psych going on this number which harks back to the '60s pioneers, but also incorporated a glam feel. This could be T.Rex had they been around five years earlier (well they were in a different incarnation, but not like this). It's another sterling, stomping and colourful melodic trip through fantastical sounds. Temples are steadily getting together that collection of top-notch songs, be prepared for a potentially outstanding debut.
