Another dreampop duo from New York? Yes, and another very good one. She & The Sun have a cleaner sound than many others in their genre, forgoing the distortion for pure, floaty beauty and an incredibly sweetly sung song that it's pretty well impossible not to like. 'Bad Lover' is taken from their self-titled debut album which is out now.

Secret Beach - Enamel
Another duo from New York? Yes, but this time we're looking at lo-fi indie that's part the poppy end of C86 and part an upbeat Daniel Johnston. Secret Beach have been together for a few years and have just put all their recordings together to make a debut album or "sampler" which is sixteen tracks long and entirely free to download. Taken from it is 'Enamel'.

Under The Wire - We Are Infinite (Demo)
Another duo... from Philadelphia this time. We've shifted along the US east coast a little and found this new (literally about a month old) project involving Tom Lugo who's also in the ace ShiShi. For Under The Wire he's teamed up with Jason Ellis to create more cutting, electronic post-punk/indiepop. Things are kind of at the demo stage currently but a debut EP is planned soon. Here's 'We Are Infinite'.

Lonesound - A Little While Longer
In November we featured 'The Great Outdoors (Part 2)' by former Luminaries man James Ewers who now goes by the name Lonesound. There's will apparently be a trilogy of EPs with part 3 still to come, but backtracking to 'The Great Outdoors (Part 1)' we find this utterly gorgeous piece of dreamy Americana (er, from Hackney) called 'A Little While Longer'.

Kameronessi - Find Me On A Beach
We weren't intentionally planning to include loads of references to sun and beaches in today's Five For Free while the country sits under a layer of snow, that's just how it's turned out. Mind you, Kameronessi is in San Francisco so we can't blame him. If you missed the lovely 'Morning Dew' that we featured last week then grab it here, then check out the chilled vibes of new track 'Find me A Beach' which reminds us a bit of jj.
