Band To Check Out: Knocking Ghost

Article by KevW

OK so recommending a new act on the strength of one song might be a bit presumptive, but when this first uploaded track by Knocking Ghost landed in our inbox we thought it was too good to pass by. The idea behind 'Independent Girl' is that it's a taster for their forthcoming debut EP, if which contains more songs in this class could be something quite special. Built around the studio pairing of Rob Taylor and Neil Quinlan, they're fleshed out to a quartet for a more wholesome live performance with the aid of Andy Hobson and Carla Tully.

And that, just there, is all the information we have on them so far. Keep your eyes and ears peeled because we've been told new material will surface very soon and we'll be letting you know as soon as we have more news. For now though, you can take a listen to the catchy, high quality piece of synth-pop that's got us a little bit excited. It's beyond your standard fare, containing more depth and melody than many others peddling similar material. We're looking forward to more of the same.
