Misty Miller - Anything For You

Single review by kev@thesoundofconfusion.co.uk

Hopefully you're up to speed with the emerging talent of Misty Miller by now. If not, get a quick recap. The teenager is following up her debut EP of tip-top garage-pop tunes with what's looking like being more of the same next month. May will see the release of a second, as yet unnamed EP and one track has been put online to satisfy our curiosity already. 'Anything For You' is more of the same strong-vocal, guitar-heavy, punky tunes that characterised the 'Girlfriend' EP, so we're glad she's sticking to what ahe does best.

It hasn't been decided if this will be the lead track from the new release yet, but if it is indeed anything like the last then the running order will matter little. Short, sharp shocks of songs like this all have the ability to take the lead, plus the fact that it's undecided yet may indicate that even stronger songs could be in the running. By the end of this year Misty Miller could, and should, be very big news. And you can rest assured that we'll be following her progress every step of the way.
