Drug Cabin - Wherever Never
This duo from Los Angeles are made up of former Ambulance LTD frontman Marcus Congleton and ex Pretty Girls Make Graves man Nathan Thelen who by then had already begun making music as Drug Cabin. Their self-titled debut EP is out this week and taken from it is the beautiful, melodic indie/pop of free track 'Wherever Never'.

Physical Therapy - Record Sales
Physical Therapy is the work of New Jersey producer Daniel Fisher who already has a handful of remixes out there, and this week he drops his debut EP 'Safety Net'. Included on it is the fabulous, summery, chilled electro-pop euphoria of free download 'Record Sales' which consists of a cacophony of sounds, all choreographed to work beautifully as one.

Shonen Knite - Pop Tune
Japanese punk legends and Ramones fanatics Shonen Knife will be releasing their new album 'Pop Tune' before long (it's available in some parts of the world already) and the title-track is now out as a single. After over thirty years in the business these girls still have energy and enthusiasm in abundance and 'Pop Tune' is a typically lovable piece of melodic powerpop.

Mirrors - Hourglass
Brighton's finest purveyors of amazing 80's-indebted synth-pop, Mirrors, are back with a new single this week. They may be a member short following the departure of Ally Young after their first album, but they haven't lost any of their skill at crafting powerful electronica-infused pop tunes and 'Hourglass' sounds huge, packed with atmosphere and a killer tune to boot, making those icy, borrowed sounds seem warm and seductive.
